17-Year-Old Winnipeg Artist LxAM Releases New House Single Through Liftoff

WINNIPEG, Manitoba — LxAM, the electronic project of Winnipeg producer Liam Harvey, is set to release “Get Out My Way” on December 11, 2026, through Liftoff Recordings, the independent dance label established by Disco Fries.

At just 17, Harvey is building a profile beyond Manitoba with a sound defined by vocal-led house music, energetic basslines and club-focused production. His previous release, “I Just Wanna Dance,” received Spotify editorial support through a placement on the streaming platform’s Bangers playlist.

The new single, “Get Out My Way,” delivers a 128 BPM vocal house sound with a message of self-belief and moving on. The track explores the point where relationship frustration becomes motivation to reclaim independence.

“Sometimes you realize that someone is stopping you from moving forward,” LxAM said. “This song is about choosing yourself and turning that feeling into energy.”

Liftoff Recordings was founded by Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic, the American DJs and producers known as Disco Fries. The duo has collaborated with Tiësto and produced remixes for global pop names including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida. Liftoff has also developed a catalogue featuring both established electronic acts and emerging producers.

For LxAM, the release represents a new opportunity to connect with dance music audiences internationally while continuing to develop his artist identity.
